When the term coach is heard, what usually comes to mind is an athletic coach. There are other types of coaches but just like an athletic coach, they can also mentor another person or a team. The term beachbody coach though is different in the sense that they do coach but it is more on mentoring another person to do well in business. The business can actually be likened to a networking business model and an affiliate marketing plan. What they can actually do is help market certain products by referring them to somebody else or selling the products themselves. They earn a certain amount for every purchase made by people whom they have referred. They usually have websites wherein they can make their sales pitch by way of articles, blog posts, reviews and testimonies regarding the Beachbody products for sale. Once the reader purchases something, the coach then gets about twenty five percent of the total gross sales amount.

The products are from Beachbody, a large wellness and fitness company, which manufactures fitness DVD’s as well as meal replacements which can aid in weight loss. Some of the specific goods that they have are the Turbo Jam, Shakeology and p90x. The latter is actually Power 90 Extreme which is a home exercise program. This was developed by Tony Horton and it is primarily marketed through Beachbody. The program uses a variation of exercise for cardio, strength training with a bit of yoga thrown in. The duration of the program is, of course, ninety days.
