Dogs have been labeled as man’s best friend for many reasons. Some of the most common include their friendliness, their capability to be trained and also the loyalty they show for their master. That being said, it is not surprising the demand for dogs has rapidly increased over the years and most people in America actually consider dogs to be a part of their family. Though they all basically come from the canine family, many different types of dogs exist as a result of man’s influence in the creation of new breeds. They carry similarities with each other since they remain to be dogs in general, but they also have different traits and qualities that make them unique as well. Examples of different types of dogs are guardians, herding, terriers, hounds and many more. Choosing which ones are the best to get is just a matter of preference.
One problem that people have, especially for those who own companion dogs, is the excessive barking. What most people do not know is that dog barking can actually be controlled through proper training. Dogs usually bark when they feel threatened, and finding the root cause of that is a good first step towards lessening a dog’s barking tendencies.
